Choosing the right Obstructive Sleep Apnoea Mask is fairly simple. There are only three basic types. Nasal Cushion (over the nose only), Full Face (over the nose and mouth - mostly for mouth breathers) and Nasal Pillow types (under the nose only).
When you decide which type, you need to pick a size. Normally they are in small, medium or large and the sizing gauges provided offer the best guide - or call us for help and advice. If you were diagnosed at a hospital or sleep clinic, you may have been able to try some on then, but we do not provide that service ourselves. We have had excellent success with the gel cushion masks as they are super comfortable. When trying to assess size or using gauges, do so lying on your back because it may change the shape of your face slightly.
Besides the masks below, we also provide information about CPAP Masks in general.
If you are changing the sleep mask you currently have to a alternative model, you may find the guide information under Mask Fitting and Comfort useful. Please note: CPAP Masks are non-returnable if opened. They do come in a clear plastic bag to you can see them first and have sizing gauges on the outside you can use. If for any reason you are unsure about which product to order, please call for advice.
