The Comfort Lite 2 CPAP Mask is the smaller and lighter mask for patients who are looking for a comfortable alternative or two. It offers a unique mask and head gear as well as three interchangeable cushion options* to deliver maximum comfort and a unique headgear system that leaves no pressure points on the face. The Comfort Lite, like all masks in the Comfort Series, is latex free.
With its multiple cushion options* and headgear support with no pressure points, the ComfortLite 2 provides a comfortable and personalized fit, increasing the opportunity for patient compliance. These features, in addition to the new soft-sided headgear and higher crown swivel attachment point, provide you with a comfortable and reliable alternative to traditional nasal masks.
- There are now three nasal interface offerings* – the NEW Nasal Pillows, the Simple Cushion™ and the Direct Seal™ - giving patients a more personalised choice for their most comfortable and effective interface.
- The new "Halo" Headgear keeps the straps off the face and relies on the forehead for stability which provides a comfortable, reliable seal with no pressure points.
- This newly designed headgear features straps that are made from a flexible, sleep-friendly fabric and can be configured three ways.
- The crown swivel is made of a new, easy-rotating material – and it’s been moved forward to reduce contact with the patient’s bed pillow.
* Two "Combo" options are available below. The first combo includes both the Nasal Pillows, which rest against the outside of the nostrils, and the Simple Cushion which sits over the nose more like a conventional mask. They are easily interchangeable. The second combo again includes the Simple Cushion along with the Direct Seal, which sits just inside the nostrils to form a seal. Again these are interchangeable.
Nasal Pillow
This image shows the mask fitted with the Pillow option. Unlike a conventional mask, a Nasal Pillow sits against the outside of the nostrils so there is no pressure on the bridge of the nose.
Direct Seal
This is similar to the Nasal Pillow but this time the soft silicon pilloe entends a little further and sits just inside the nostrils to form a seal. This design again avoids pressure on the bridge of the nose.
Simple Cushion
The Simple Cushion supplied with both Combo packs is a tip-of-the-nose nasal cushion that is much smaller and lighter than conventional cushions to reduce bulk, making the mask lighter and minimising pressure points. This more traditional cushion option has a freely rotating ball-and-socket elbow/cushion assembly, which enables proper cushion tilt for a personalised seal.
