OptiLife fits your life – and makes your life easier.
Life is a balancing act, and it’s hard enough to fit in all your existing obligations without adding anything new – even something as small as a new sleep therapy mask. But the Respironics OptiLife mask is easy to fit into your life, because it makes life easier for you.
The Respironics OptiLife is a nasal interface that is used to deliver Positive Airway Pressure (PAP) for the treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). It is an alternative to traditional nasal masks that provides a less invasive, more complete and lifestyle-oriented form of airway delivery. Each OptiLife Nasal Interface comes complete with four cushion sizes (P,S, M, L), headgear and a tube management clip.
The OptiLife relies on a soft, pillows cushion that gently seals inside the nostrils. The cushion seal is supported by the chin support band, and, to a lesser extent, the nose. By using the chin to support the mask seal, the OptiLife reduces the pressure on the upper lip and nasal area, providing a comfortable yet stable cushion support.
Explore OptiLife's Great Features
OptiLife features a unique headgear design and a chin support band that allows it to be easily put on and adjusted with little effort and no buckles. In fact, OptiLife is so easy-to-use that the mask can be put into place with one hand. Plus, OptiLife is easy-to-clean and maintain, and its durable enough to stand up to the real-world demands of daily use.
With its soft headgear and chin support band, comfortable pillows cushion and low-profile universal faceplate, it’s easy to find a secure, comfortable fit with OptiLife. And the mask’s unique design makes it especially appealing to people who sleep on their side or wear glasses. The low-profile design of the OptiLife makes it perfect for reading or watching television before going to sleep.
OptiLife Mask Care
Cleaning your OptiLife mask regularly is a very important part of mask maintenance. The pillows cushions, nasal interface and tubing should be cleaned daily. The headgear and chin support band should be cleaned weekly. It is not necessary to disconnect the headgear and support band for daily use and cleaning.
